During an on-site consultation, we evaluate your team’s client service, discover opportunities for practice growth, and train your team. Our on-site consulting services include all of these aspects:

  • On-site observations—Shadowing appointments from check-in to checkout lets us observe client service, consistency in standards of care, medical recommendations, client compliance, communication styles, follow-up opportunities, and work-flow processes. Observations help us detect what really happens inside exam rooms and then develop success strategies for daily practice.

  • Training—Based on your team’s needs, we’ll create customized training and provide workbooks for every employee. Team members also complete evaluations that prioritize concepts to implement and changes they’d like to see in your hospital.

  • Compliance Coach—We’ll use data from your practice management software to analyze 11 compliance areas for dogs and cats: Client retention rate, preventive care exams, intestinal parasite testing, heartworm/tick testing, dentistry, flea/tick and heartworm preventive sales, and senior screens. Your Compliance Coach report quantifies compliance performance for the previous 12 months, and then projects income growth with a 20% performance improvement. We provide compliance scorecards with weekly, monthly, and yearly goals for you to update and post for staff.

  • Consultation report—This detailed analysis summarizes our observations and gives specific strategies to increase client service and practice revenue.

  • Implementation plan—We prioritize strategies in a monthly action plan spanned over 12 to 18 months to steadily implement tactics and achieve your hospital’s performance goals.

  • Resources—This how-to notebook is packed with articles and seminar proceedings that will help you implement ideas and provide ongoing training for your team. Your resources notebook includes a CD with electronic files so you can easily share copies with staff.

  • The Veterinary Practice Management Resource Book & CD—Every consultation includes our best-selling ultimate forms book. With more than 100 easy-to-use forms, you’ll have tools to implement ideas at your fingertips. The book includes a CD with Microsoft Word documents so you can edit and personalize forms.
